The brief

Event Design & Décor, by Lev Event

Design is the part of an event guests remember first and photograph most. We approach a room the way a set designer approaches a stage: what should guests see when the doors open, where should the eye go, and what light will make everyone look their best?

Our design process moves from a written concept to a palette and mood board, then a tabletop sample you can touch in our Reseda studio, and finally a full installation plan. We work with leading Los Angeles florists, lighting designers and rental houses, and we build custom pieces — arches, bars, backdrops, stages — when the catalog will not do.

The running order

Moments we plan for

Cue 01

The doors

The first look at the room is the design’s opening line.

Cue 02

The table

Linens, glassware, candles and florals composed at eye level.

Cue 03

The light

Warm, low and flattering — never a fluorescent surprise.

Cue 04

The strike

Everything packed and the venue returned on time.

How we work

The running order

Six stages, one producer, no surprises. Every event we plan follows the same proven sequence, scaled to your date.

01

Discovery call

Thirty minutes about you, your guests and the feeling you want. Free, by phone or at our Reseda studio.

02

Concept & budget

A written concept, mood board and itemized budget so every decision has a frame.

03

Design & vendors

Venue, vendors and design locked in, with samples and tastings you can actually touch.

04

Production plan

Floor plans, run-of-show and a contact sheet every vendor works from.

05

Rehearsal & load-in

We rehearse the key moments and direct setup before the first guest arrives.

06

Showtime & wrap

We call the show, solve problems quietly and pack up while you say goodnight.

From the house

“The church, the godparents, the lunch under the olive trees — I didn’t make a single phone call on the day. It was pure peace.”

Questions

Event Design & Décor: answered

Can we see the design before the event?

Yes. We create a mood board and, for most events, a physical tabletop mock-up at our studio in Reseda.

Do you work with our florist?

Yes. We can direct your chosen florist within the overall design, or recommend partners who suit your style and budget.

Do you offer design-only service?

Yes. Design and décor can be booked as a standalone service with installation and strike included.
